โ I disagree with the popular notion that...
Some ideas are heard so often that they begin to seem true.
But I disagree. As a sexologist. As a human being. As a live interviewer who has heard hundreds of stories.
Here's what I disagree with:
๐ฃ That talking about desire is shameful.
๐ That sex in a long relationship inevitably gets boring.
๐งฑ That men don't have sexual vulnerability.
๐ That sexuality ends after 40.
๐ That โnice girlsโ don't talk about sex.
๐ธ That the body has to be โperfectโ to be desirable.
๐ง That being emotional is a weakness.
๐ค That intimacy is only about sex.
๐ That a sexologist is only โabout technique in bed.โ
๐ฎ That if your partner doesn't guess your desires, he's bad.
๐งณ That problems in sex are embarrassing to discuss.
๐ If any of these resonated, write them down.
Which thought would you also disagree with?
Or vice versa - which of these things do you still have a hard time letting go of?
Let's talk about it honestly.
