2024-09-20 00:14:02 +0000 UTC View PostHad a dream come true this weekend and shot a M1 Garand. Absolutely amazing feeling. Especially growing up knowing my grandfathers both used it in war. šŗšø
Hereās some fun facts about it! The M1 Garand is a semi-automatic rifle designed by John C. Garand and adopted by the U.S. military in 1936. It was the first semi-automatic rifle to be standard issue for U.S. troops, providing a significant rate-of-fire advantage in World War II and the Korean War. Chambered in .30-06 Springfield, it uses an 8-round en-bloc clip that ejects with a distinctive "ping" sound when empty. Known for its reliability and ruggedness, it was praised by General George S. Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised." Weighing around 9.5 to 11.6 pounds, the M1 Garand remained in service until it was replaced by the M14 and has since become a popular collector's item.

Shooting accurately while walking requires maintaining a balanced, athletic stance with knees slightly bent and weight centered. Use a heel-to-toe motion to minimize bounce and keep your upper body steady. Keep your arms, shoulders, and head still, letting your legs absorb the movement. Controlled breathing and a smooth trigger pull are crucial for maintaining accuracy. Regular practice, including dry fire drills, will help you master this essential skill. Always prioritize safety and follow proper range protocols.

Night vision technology enhances visibility in low-light conditions, making it indispensable for tactical operations. By amplifying available light, night vision devices allow for clear vision in near-total darkness. This capability is crucial for military missions, search and rescue operations, and outdoor adventures. Investing in quality night vision gear means gaining the upper hand when visibility is compromised. Stay prepared, stay sharp, and always be ready for the challenges that come with the night.

The beach isnāt just a getaway; itās a place to regain clarity and tackle life head-on.

Do not make peace with evil. Destroy it.
In both life and training, we must confront challenges head-on and overcome them with unwavering determination. As Winston Churchill said, 'You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.' Stand strong, face adversity, and never back down.

Lights, camera, action!!!
I was not always comfortable in front of the camera, actually itās something I still struggle with to this day.. between comparing myself to other people, nervousness, and body dysmorphia, itās been a challenge Iāve faced everyday of my life.
But the only way to get past my challenges, are to face them! So I really try to make it a habit of being Infront of the camera as much as possible to combat the nerves!
If I can do it, anyone can!

Fuel your body with high-quality protein sources. Opt for lean cuts of red meat, chicken breast, and fresh fish. Pair them with clean carbs like brown rice and sweet potatoes for a balanced meal that supports muscle growth and recovery.
My absolute favorite meal is eggs rice and ground beef š„š„š„.
Simple and amazing macros.

In today's world, where we're constantly tempted by the latest gadgets, keeping a minimalist everyday carry (EDC) can be a refreshing change. By focusing on the essentials, you simplify your life and carry only what you truly need. Think of a slim wallet for your cards and cash, your phone of course, because I know everyone has it on them 24/7, a keys if you have them, a small multitool or knife, and your gun of choice. My minimalistic EDC is G43x, itās so compact I barely know itās there, or throw it in my Fanny pack š. This streamlined approach not only lightens your load but also brings a sense of order and purpose to your day.

Imagine the person you could be if you simply refused to give up. Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress. Think about where you started and where you are nowāeach day you kept going has brought you closer to your goals. The journey might be tough, but the growth and strength you gain along the way are priceless. Keep pushing, keep believing, and one day you'll look back and realize how far you've come because you didn't stop.

Serious question, where can I get a real medieval Sword?
Iāve been on my game of thrones grind lately š
Fun fact! Swords were often given names by their owners, much like how ships are named. Famous examples include "Excalibur," the legendary sword of King Arthur, and "Joyeuse," the sword of Charlemagne. Naming a sword was a way to honor its importance and the deeds done with it.
I kinda do the same with my guns š

Creating an emergency plan with your family is crucial. Discuss where to go if you need to evacuate, identify a meeting place, and establish communication methods. Once that's sorted, build an emergency kit with essentials like water, non-perishable food, medications, first aid supplies, a flashlight, batteries, a multi-tool, cash, important documents, and personal hygiene items.

One thing I've learned from life is the power of consistency. Whether you're working on a personal goal, your career, or any other pursuit, showing up and putting in the time is what makes the difference. It's not just about the hours you put in, but the dedication and persistence. Consistency is key in mastering any skill and achieving your goals.
