The impulse engines ROAR to life, straining the reactor's power. Without shields, a single collision with debris could be disastrous -- but Rhonda Tollytick is charged up on adrenaline. With a wicked toothy grin on her face she slams the thrusters on multiple sides of the ship. Zerkaian acid sloshes in the Orgasmic Immersion tank, crew members who aren't holding onto anything go flying across the ship. You can feel the artificial gravity fighting to keep up with the strain as the Rabbit's Foot turns around WAY too fast. But it worked! The OMEGA-ZED goes soaring past you, overshooting their pursuit course -- right into the crosshairs of the Rabbit's Foot's lasers! "KAI, GET THE GUNS!" The hulking white-furred Erraff is on it at the turret controls. Red light arcs through the darkness, crackling against the enemy's shields. Sensors blare through the cabin as the enemy's turret-mounted maser turns to catch you in its firing arc. Deadly microwave pulses bolt past the Rabbit's Foot; they can't compensate for the extreme maneuver you just made. In the reactor, Sawtooth continues to blaze hot. That strained the containment field keeping the living power source from overloading and damaging the ship, and the crew. Your next move is CRITICAL. The Rabbit's Foot's shields are down; any hits you take now will result in serious damage. But you have them at a disadvantage. * RECHARGE SHIELDS: Fly into the debris field, using it for cover while diverting power to recharge the defensive shields. * STAY ON TARGET: You have them in your sights; lock on and do as much damage as we can while we can. We gotta drop those shields! * OVERCHARGE: Damn the torpedoes! Make the engineering team work for their supper! Get as much power from the reactor as we can to get the shields back online, sacrificing system integrity for offense & defense.
