When I arrived, all the tables were occupied, but suddenly a barista came up to me and offered to wait for a few minutes. In the meantime, he treated me to a small piece of chocolate cake to brighten the wait. When I finally sat down at a table and tasted a full piece of that very pie, I realized it was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Small gestures can make a day special, can't they? 💕
