AMY JOURNAL January 1st - 8th, 2022 Where to begin? Well, let's see… It’s January! Woohoo! The end of December is just a complete blur to me because I was so busy with Christmas cookies. I had a wonderful time baking for my subscribers and I think it went MUCH better than the sale in October (which still went well!) but of course I was still disappointed in a few things. I am DEFINITELY continuing the bake sale tradition, even if I end up tweaking the system a bit. 😁 If you didn’t see the bake sale video I posted, you can find it here! It’s free for all! 👉https://fansly.com/post/330433544180473857 I also did a large cookie order for my grandma right after Christmas and did a WAY better job on everything (sorry subscribers D:) so I’ll attach pictures of those at the end! She received bunnies and snowflakes in lemon sugar cookie and gingerbread, peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. My mom got me THE BEST baking cookbook for xmas and it really came in handy. I will never use the internet to find a recipe again!! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fly home for the holidays this year, but I do have my sister and her husband here to hang out with. On Christmas day, however, she told me she was feeling a little under the weather, so we decided to take our holiday mimosa plans to the park. We distanced, opened presents, had drinks and cookies, and it ended up not being that sucky of a day! Buuut two days later we found out she had Covid. She is vaccinated and fine, I am fine and somehow did not get it…STILL. But needless to say, NYE was then an automatic bust. I think it was for the best that I and everyone I know decided to stay in. I bought myself some champagne and some fancy food to cook and had a great time. I do love my own company. 😅 Currently, my back is hurting like crazy and it has been hard to make content. I'm trying to get bed rest this weekend, but it's hard staying still. My week was spent cleaning up the house, reorganizing, rearranging…TIME TO REST LOVE U xoxo amy
