It’s judged, mistaken for ego, and looked down upon. So much ignorance + close-mindedness still circulates around the stigma of a naked body. We are all on this endless journey of accepting and being comfortable with ourselves, inside and out. What has been so damn beautiful to see along my journey of empowered expression in front of a lens, is how many people have reached out to me to say my confidence and body positivity inspires them to love themselves more, celebrate their bodies for the innate divinity they hold, and to treat their vessel with more respect. And this has totally helped drown out the insecure voices in my head that can be difficult to brush off. Posting my art is not an obscenity. Sexuality and nudity CAN be separated (although sexuality should definitely be embraced too and it’s okay to be sexually attracted to what you see in this photo set. I’ll save that rant for another day though...) I’m just here to share my journey and hopefully encourage more self-love and authentic expression in the process. Find freedom in whatever way you feel called, and know that it is possible to exist without the weight of judgement.
